Which States Have the Most 55+ Communities?

More and more 55+ communities are popping up as baby boomers retire, but Florida is still king when it comes to retirement communities.    Arizona runs a close second, and other southern and western states, including Texas and the Carolinas , are gaining ground.   Developers are discovering a huge market in retiring baby boomers, and even in these economic times, they plan to keep building retirement communities, many of which are really mini-resorts.
