(92%), while Spanish is the second most popular language with 3% percent of the total population speaking it. Pennsylvania has a strong African American population and also boasts one of the largest European American populations
in the United States.
The state is home to many professional sport franchises. These teams include the Philadelphia Phillies, the Pittsburgh Pirates in Major League Baseball, while the Philadelphia Eagles and the Pittsburgh Steelers are a part of the National Football League. The Philadelphia Flyers and the Pittsburgh Penguins represent the state in the National Hockey League and the Philadelphia 76ers are in the National Basketball Association. These teams have earned many accolades and wins in proud representation of the state.
