Potential buyers will find that the Flats' is home to eighteen newly refurbished and renovated luxury condominiums, each one thoroughly modern and quite stylish.    Units have either one, two or three bedrooms, as well as extra storage and sprinkler systems.  All units are single-level, something many retirees appreciate, and each one has its own distinctive floor plan.     Buyers also have a say in their unit's flooring and lighting designs.  Prices start at $152,000, and at this writing, fourteen units are still available for sale.  Call (865) 494-7200 for information.

This complex is located in Norris, a small, peaceful, master-planned town (population 1,500 and essentially a suburb of Knoxville) nestled along the base of the Great Smoky Mountains, which are about 30 minutes away.   Designed along the lines of the 1890s English garden movement, Norris boasts quiet tree lined streets, lovely public parks, spacious, green common areas and miles of walking trails.   The Flats' condos are within walking distance of most basic conveniences, including a post office, grocery and drug store, and pretty Norris Lake, which boasts 800 miles of shoreline, is just a few minutes away.

Norris itself does not have a major medical facility but medical care in Knoxville is extensive and quite good.   The overall cost of living in Norris is about ----------
