This complex is located
in Norris, a small, peaceful, master-planned town
(population 1,500 and essentially a suburb of Knoxville) nestled along the base of the Great Smoky
Mountains, which are about 30 minutes away. Designed along the lines of the 1890s
English garden movement, Norris boasts quiet tree lined
streets, lovely public parks, spacious, green common areas and miles
of walking trails. The Flats' condos are within walking
distance of most basic conveniences, including a post office,
grocery and drug store, and pretty Norris Lake, which boasts 800 miles of
shoreline, is just a few minutes away.
Norris itself does not have a major medical facility
but medical care in Knoxville is extensive and quite
good. The overall cost of living in Norris is about
